Description:

This is a unique kabuki novel written by a Native American and a leading postmodern novelist. The first scene begins in the ruins of the Atomic Bomb Dome, what the book calls a new Rashomon Gate. The main character is Ronin Browne who is of mixed Native American and Japanese parentage. He performs "Kabuki in the nuclear age" with the homeless who hang out around the Dome.
