Title meaning: 軍艦島 In 2003 Han Su-san wrote in Korean full-lenght novel titled Crows. After some more scientific investigations and extending the novel, in 2009 he published the Japanese translation as Gunkanjima or Battleship Island. In 2016, after more investigations and addin more details the Korean version of the Japanese book Gunkanjima was published in Korea. Therefore, thera are two versions of the book in Korean: カラス and 軍艦島.
